Deposits & Rates

ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE and will be subtracted from the total price of your tattoo upon completion.  Appointments are not guaranteed until a $200 deposit is left.  Should you require multiple sessions, the deposit will go towards the final visit.  If you need to reschedule, your deposit can be transferred as long as you've given THREE DAYS NOTICE prior to your appointment.  Any schedule changes outside of that, your deposit will be forfeited.

I charge $250/hour. Most days don’t go past 7 hours, so if I expect more than that, I’ll have you book multiple sessions.

For a number of reasons, I don’t send out designs ahead of time, sorry guys! I’ll book you enough time in case minor changes need to be made. It’s important to include all the requested information when submitting your idea to avoid any issues with this.

I do not tattoo minors, or clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Booking

I book appointments in three month blocks. Booking dates are in January, April, July and October. As much as I wish I could do it all, my busy schedule only allows for me to take on projects that best fit my style of work. If I don’t think I’m the best artist for the job, I’ll try to refer you to someone who is.

Make sure you are on the mailing list if you’re interested in booking an appointment with me! That will be the only way you’re able to get in. I often post designs on my Instagram (@melisehilltattoo) which are available to be reserved for the next booking cycle. Feel free to contact me if you’re interested in one of them! Those who reserve pre-drawn designs will be guaranteed a spot the next time I book.

When it comes time to book, I’m not always able to take on new custom projects. I try my best to fit in as much as I can, but keep in mind, there are more requests than there are available times. I occasionally get cancellations, which I will always post on Instagram, so keep an eye out for that. I will always send out a quarterly update to let you guys know whether I’ll be able to take anything new.

Consultations in person usually aren’t necessary; I prefer to sort out the details over email.

I welcome any extra questions you have by email, which is linked at the bottom of the page.
